Update July 23, 2008

It's been a busy two months. I've had three signing sessions. The first was at a friends home-business open house. She kindly provided myself and two other authors with table space to sell our books. Although it wasn't a heavily attended evening, I did sell one copy and had a lot of fun.

The second signing was in Stittsville, a small town near here. My book publisher (Baico Books) arranged an afternoon of "Meet The Authors In The Park" outing. We provided our own tables and chairs and he looked after getting the advertising. Unfortunately (or fortunately from some perspectives) it was a hot day, so we didn't get a big turn-out. It was, however, successful enough that plans are being made to do it again next year, and I'm looking forward to that.

The big signing, however, was in Toronto at the Polaris 22 Science Fiction Convention. I had a table there for the three days. This convention is one of the biggest in the Eastern Canada/North-eastern US area and drew people from as far away a Florida. While it is mainly focused on the visual media, it does have a fair written media presence. I was fortunate enough to spend Saturday evening with two published authors who had been brought in by Indigo Books for signings. I sold twenty books there and passed out many cards, so I hope to have some more orders through the web site.

There will be more news on book two in the near future, so come on back! :-)
